Riverside Park Community and Recreation Association (RPCRA)
are a group of volunteers whose purpose is to reflect the views,
concerns and interests of all residents of Riverside Park, and
to serve as an information conduit and sounding board for our
elected representatives regarding issues that affect our community.
Our goal is to maintain and enhance the character and quality
of life within our community; to maintain a liaison and coordination
with other community associations and groups; and to create awareness
within the community of issues affecting it and the City as a
whole.

| By maintaining a paid membership with the Riverside
Park Community Association residents of Riverside Park are supporting
the efforts of the Association.
Membership in the Corporation is open to residents of the neighbourhood
and is attained by payment of an annual membership fee. To be
a member in good standing of RPCRA membership fees must have
been paid for the current year.
Members of RPCRA are entitled to:
- Vote for the RPCRA Board of Directors at the Annual General
Meeting (AGM).
- Vote on any matter raised by the Board of Directors at the
Annual General meeting (AGM).
- Attend any meeting of the Board of Directors or its Committees.
- Have access to all Minutes of meetings, correspondence and
other official documents of the Association upon giving reasonable
notice.
- Address the Board at any scheduled meeting of the Board of
Directors.
Annual Membership fees:
$5.00 per household and $10.00 per Associate Membership

The RPCRA has committees where members
work together on various projects concerning the Riverside Park
community. Please visit the individual pages of these committees
for more information on their ongoing projects and activities.

Communications Committee
To keep the Residents informed on issues relating to their neighbourhood
through our Web Site and twice yearly Newsletter.
Environment Committee
To keep a watchful eye on the quality of natural spaces that
surround our community.
Membership Committee
To maintain a proper accounting of books and paid memberships.
Land Use Committee
To monitor any proposals for change in allowed land use or
site plan proposals that might affect the well-being of the
residents of Riverside Park.
Community Gardens
To revitalize the gardens at Fire Hall #7 in celebration of
the Canada-wide, Our Millennium Campaign.
Ottawa Police Service
Transportation Committee
To monitor traffic problems/solutions brought to our attention
by concerned residents and business owners.
Victoria Day
Fireworks and Family Gala Committee:
To organize the Victoria Day Fireworks and Family Gala.
